One chapter mentioned in the Goals & Objectives survey that they'd like to "improve chapter efficiency with respect to use of social media, event registration, contact information, etc."

Does this resonate with other chapters? If yes, please list any chapter activities or processes that currently feel cumbersome. If you have standardized any processes that have improved chapter efficiency, please share those too!

This could include CAB interactions, volunteer recruitment, answering the same types of questions repeatedly, event/program planning, managing chapter sewing contests, etc.

We have our Instagram Account set to also post the same info to Facebook and Threads.

Can we put links to Insta, Threads and FB on the website? I see where lots of websites share handles and such.

Links to IG and email already there. I had probs linking FB. I haven’t tried linking Threads yet but I can certainly try moving forward.

I would like to explore how to best integrate social media with chapter websites. It's been about 10 years since I last did this so I'm sure the options have changed. We can certainly link to social media accounts -- that's easy -- but having content automatically go from website to social media or the reverse might be tricky.

Would love to hear if any chapters have seen ways to do this. Elementor has a widget for Facebook, but it only works on desktop, not mobile (have not looked at how this works yet). Given how many people use mobile, it doesn't seem like a good option.

It would be great if chapters could create social media event announcements, for example, that automatically post when an event is added to the website (e.g. add an event to the website, check a box for social media that generates an Instagram post with graphic and text, review and publish the event and Instagram post with one click).

This might be a phase 2 add-on as there could be a cost involved and I do not want to delay launching chapter sites since this task could be done manually for now.

Paceda - Nashville, You interface with Instagram and Facebook and Threads.  By Threads, do you mean Threads magazine, or something else?

Threads is another social media platform, similar to Reddit.

Instagram automatically posts from Instagram to Facebook and to Threads which is another social media site. It doesn’t work in the reverse though. I cannot post to Facebook and have it populate to the other apps, even though they are all Meta apps.

It would be great that when registration opens for an event, it goes to social media sites.  But not until the actual registration begins.
